“I had the opportunity to visit the Almazov Centre in St. Petersburg through the year and I am very pleased to say that the Centre is not only a leading place for clinical cardiologic and cardiovascular research, but it is also a perfect venue for several scientific and educational events. The Almazov Centre, in fact, is able to provide a state-of-art innovation in cardiology as well as in cardiac surgery. The availability of several multi-hybrid operating rooms equipped with PET and MRI, the cyclotron are undreamed in many European centres and offer the possibility for practical education for doctors, cardiologists, and surgeons. The meeting rooms are equipped with highly sophisticated interactive systems and are also ideal for face-to-face lectures and tutorials.
The fact that the Almazov Centre is located in St. Petersburg highlights the opportunity for the centre to become the ideal venue for any type of scientific event. The city, in fact, offers a renovated airport, a vast range of hotels, and, last but not least, a unique atmosphere.
I must say I was personally amazed with the offer of the Almazov Centre and St. Petersburg in terms of cardiovascular education.”
